Man Utd 'keen to sign' Emre Can, Van de Beek and Cavani

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to sign former Liverpool midfielder Emre Can from Juventus - according to reports.

The Germany international has fell out of favour following the arrival of Maurizio Sarri in the Serie A.
Signing both Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey pushed Can down the pecking order and he was omitted from the Champions League squad leading to speculation regarding his future.
Italian outlet Calciomercato claim that United admire the former Liverpool man and are interested in securing his signature.
The report claims that the midfielder has offers from both England and Germany but the player's preference is to return to the Premier League.
United are eager to sign a new midfielder and remain interested in Declan Rice and Sean Longstaff as well as James Maddison.
Elsewhere, Solskjaer is also reportedly interested in Ajax playmaker Donny Van de Beek.
United were linked with the Dutchman during the summer after his excellent campaign in 2018/19 but the move failed to materialise.
Van de Beek could be available next summer rather than in the January transfer window.
Finally, reports claim that United's search for a striker in continuing with Paris Saint-Germain hitman Edinson Cavani the latest player to be linked with a switch to Old Trafford.
The Uruguayan faces an uncertain future at the club with his contract due to expire next summer.
ESPN claim United officials have sounded out the player about moving to England and hope PSG are willing to accept a cut-price fee for the former Napoli man rather than lose him for free.
The 32-year-old has made three appearances in Ligue 1 this year, scoring twice.
